My resting heart rate is pretty high... around 90-100. I'm 27 years old and in decent shape. However, my blood pressure and everything else has always been great, so I am not overly concerned. When exercising, the max is usually 170.

my resting is in the 40s I'm a runner and I wear a heart rate monitor I have maxed as high as 197 I don't know if this is good but I never sustain it as soon as I get that high I make sure I come down to 180 any thoughts on what a normal max is and if its dangerous to get this high?

how can you stay at your max?
If you are exercising 100% of your time is the only way to keep it up.
It is not healthy if you have above 100 during resting.

Try to stay in your 70% to 85%, you can see that you start burning above 60%.
