Can you fly if you're 8 months pregnant?

Some airlines would not even let you on the plane. At 8 months, you could go into labor at anytime. The pressurerized cabin seems to hurry things up. I am sure your doctor wouldn't approve.

My doctor always told me do not fly 6 weeks before or after...well not to take a baby on the plane that young after anyway. So I would say no as well.

You have to have your doctor approve it, but I doubt any doctor would approve it.

I[m not the pregnant one. It's my son & GF who have been in New Hampshire for 5 months and they're ready to come home. My other son and me are planning on flying out to NH and renting a van with the other 2 kids, which I'm nervous about. But, her mother is thinking of flying her back home. I don't think it's a good idea to fly either. We're still taking a chance of driving cross country (3000 miles). Those kids just drive you nuts, don't they?

Wow. That is quite a drive for being eight months pregnant! You'll just have to find all the hospitals along the way... hope all goes well!
