I don't understand why a woman having a miscarriage would have to wait 2 hrs for a bed in a ER. But than again at the time I had no insurance.

and this is the reason 3 hospitals in California were shut down....my aunt lived there and the hospitals were drained from people taking advantage of the ER...

Ok for those that advocate going to urgent care centers....how much do those visits cost because my insurance won't cover an urgent care so my only choice is to go an er. Just curious.

In urgent care you have to pay up front, which takes us back to tile one, they
load up the ER, because some of them don't have have adequate insurance for

It is sad, it's scary too... esp for the person that walk in for triage, and have to wait to be filtered down to the proper care room
