Remember that, generally speaking, urine is sterile and you can even quite safely drink it.

I dont believe I'll swim in a public pool for a very long time....
I didnt' read the article since, well , it's summer and I will be swimming in pools.

Pools are like a lot of things for me - eating hotdogs at the game and Costco, staying in hotels, using the sauna at the gym... I just don't allow myself to think about it too much!

Public pools, hot tubs and swim parks: OFF LIMITS!!! I'm not even fond of lakes and oceans unless I keep my head above water and shower immediately after....

Anyone ever see the episode of Malcom in the Middle when the family went to the water park? It portrayed EVERYTHING you might imagine was in a public bathtub: gobs of hair floating around, used bandaids floating by, people with questionable hygiene jumping in, people eating while on a drifting inner tube, people "douching" themselves over the spray heads...eewwwwwwwwwww......it made me gag watching it.

Years ago, a nearby spraypark send people to the hospital after they all contracted e-coli type intestinal bug that made them sick for months!!!!

That's all I needed to stay in my backyard

You folks are nuts. What is it like to live in fear?

I've swam in countless pools, lakes, rivers, oceans, etc. along with millions of other people. I lived, so did they.
