Now ive got to get someone to take me.
I had it done last week and was in and out of there in an hour--i was a bit shocked at how quickly it went. He only put a bandaid on and he told me to take it easy with it, but as I didn't want to miss my dance session I went and bought one of those finger splints just for the dance. Otherwise, it's been fine and nothing to be nervous about. I've been cracking jokes about my "Frankenstein finger."

Update. Today I am one month out from surgery. Tuesday I had to make a trip to see my surgeon. It seems as though I have carpal tunnel in my left wrist. And the swelling from my surgery has made my carpal tunnel worse. I am having really bad nerve pain. My doctor did a test on the inside of my wrist by tapping on it. Well when he tapped in one area I jerked my hand back. Lol. It sent shocks all the way up to my fingers tips. Very painful. And don't ask your doctor for something for pain specifically for nerve pain. This means no narcotics. But of course they didn't. I asked for cymbalta. I got a regular pain killer which of course doesn't help. So I don't bother even taking them. Ibuprofen works better (800mg). I was put back in my cast for two more weeks. =(. Hopefully I will have better range of motion back and the swelling will not be aggravating my carpal tunnel anymore. The surgery was successful. But iam still in recovery. I will post more updates later. Thanks for the support I have received from here. Thanks!!!

Dude I have one on my right wrist and it is over my artery and I'm not insured and the e.r. Won't touch it because it's not inflamed or hot to touch so no infection sometimes my arm goes numb or there's electrical shocks going threw it so I know it's damaging my nerves..and it's almost 5 cm in width and there's a smaller part starting to grow...I wanna hit it with a book but scared I will really hurt something

I had one on my right wrist like 10 years ago. They stuck a hollow needle into it and it eventually went away. Didn't really hurt. Mostly was just an eyesore.
