Could also be obstructive sleep apnea - yes, skinny people have it, heck, babies are even born with it.

The tiredness and sleepiness in the day are signs of OSA.

I've never heard of OSA before, but I have heard of sleep apnea. I had another issue and had to go in to see the Doc today and had to have a STAT C-Scan. I felt like someone was choking me and couldn't swallow well. It isn't as bad now as it was in the am. What could this be~? Do you know~?

Are you a vegetarian?

If so, have a steak. I bet you'll feel better. Sounds to me like you're anaemic.

Apparently your not a vegetarian....and I don't need a steak All my blood work always has been okay, but only recently I have thyroid issues. I'm so healthy otherwise, and if you would meet me in person you would not believe I am as old as I am...as I am told

OSA - Obstructive Sleep Apnea. Not at all the same thing as narcolepsy. People fall asleep in the day b/c they don't get any good restful sleep at night.

Nothing against vegos...my daughter is one.

my SIL was one, committed, for years...until she broke her ankle.

She fell over at home and it snapped like a twig (her bloods have always been fine too). She had to have several surgeries and pins, a wheelchair, the whole nine yards/

Anyway to cut a long story short imagine my surprise when I walked in to find her sitting on the kitchen floor (couldnt walk for months) waiting impatiently for her daughter to finish cooking a huge, bloody steak.

She told me that she wasn't healing properly in the hospital, they told her to start eating meat again. She said, "NO WAY" but once she got home she actually started craving it. She literally couldn't get enough.

Once she started eating it, her healing accelerated to the point the doctors said "we told you so".

Now she eats meat, not because she enjoys it, but because she has learnt the hard way that it is very difficult to get enough vitamins to function without it, and almost impossible to heal without it. She also turned out to be very vitamin D deficient which is pretty hard to do in the sunniest state in the sunniest country in the world.

I'm not a vegan, or a strict vegetarian. I eat eggs, dairy products and fish (but not daily). Just had some yogurt for breakfast and coffee About 30 years ago I had severe migraine and long story short....once I gave up eating meat I haven't had a migraines. It works for me but may not for others, as I say.
