I'm a 26 yr old male. I have full health insurance. I'm trying to schedule a full physical exam because I've never had one. What kind of doctor do I search for? I am with BlueCross BlueSheild. I have to choose what kind of Doctor I'm looking for but I not sure. I want the whole deal. I want my heart checked and everything. Thanks for your help.

a doctor of Internal Medicine is best but any Family or General Practitioner will do too.

^^Yes this is the correct answer. Then if something out of the ordinary shows up in the exam the doctor will probably refer you to a specialist. Most insurance companies want you to go through a GP first and some require that a GP must refer you to a specialist if one is needed.
Since you're only 26 a routine physical should be a snap. Here is a good web site that explains what a physical is and what to expect.
