Something to check also; how is your diet? Are you eating adequate foods with Vitamin A if not supplementing? Vitamin A is absolutely crucial for one's eye health.

My eye doctor told me that this extremely hot weather that we've had lately has really brought people in for various problems and my retina almost detached this summer--when I went in that day my eyesight tested at 20/35 and one month later it had deteriorated to 20/40 and I'm stuck with the big floaters. They said it can go in leaps like that. Maybe that's what's happening with you, which has to be disheartening when you spend a couple of hundred $ or more on glasses and then you immediately need another scrip for new glasses.

Have you had your glasses adjusted? That makes a difference. Also, progressives don't always work well for some people. I do better with readers from the store, for reading.

If this does turn out to be the case, ask your eye doctor for references to your state (or country) blind services. A lot of eye doctors leave their patients hanging after they find out they're going blind but the government has a lot of services for people adjusting to vision loss. In any case, this is most likely not the case as going blind is quite rare, so I wouldn't get too paranoid quite yet.
Get a full cycloplegic exam (where they dilate your pupils and look into your eye) and make sure they really examine your eyes and optic nerves thoroughly. Make sure they check what your eye muscles are doing when you are looking close and far--the blurriness could be as simple as the muscles in your eyes (in charge of focusing on something) not working properly.
You said you got an MRI scan and you don't have a brain tumor--but is the MRI scan clear? There are a lot of things that can cause visual disturbances that are neither a tumor nor perfectly normal. What were your MRI scan results? It might even be worth going to see a neuro-ophthalmologist, someone who specializes specifically in neurologically-based eye conditions.
If it turns to you are indeed going blind, feel free to send me a DM. I'm blind and can point you to all kinds of things that will help you keep your quality of life.

No the MRI was not clear, They said I have MS because I went numb on side of my body which is mostly fine now. I also had ON 2 times, however I do not think thats whats causing my current problem. My eye doc says I have dry eye but when I put drops in my eyes it doesn't make my vision any clearer. Also my vision seems inconsistent, some days better than others. But for example on the computer screen, if I look at coloured text it's not blurry per se but I looks like it has shadow so it makes it look blurry but it's not. If that makes any sense.
Anyway I have an appt but probably have to cancel until I get my kids settled into school.
