I don't think it has any health implications whatsoever, that being said, shaving is a pain in the butt, but it does make your legs smoother and removes dead skin. It looks awful when a woman has hairy legs and wears shorts though, not a good look, you could possibly deal with rude comments. I've heard people say nasty things about unshaven woman, when their legs and pits are overgrown. Do what makes you happy, I'll keep shaving.

As I've gotten older it is harder to see the hair on my legs and if you can't see it there is no reason to shave it? I also live in a hot climate...I wax my legs in the summer and shave the leftovers away but in the winter I'm not bothering until it starts to bother me and even then I've got an electric shaver that works good enough. I don't know if hairy or hairless has any benefit over the other.

None of us really enjoy shaving, but the pressure to look good is always there.

I am definitely somewhat of a hippie and a rebel when it comes to certain social graces, but very law abiding and don't drink or smoke or anything... I love nature and natural things!!

I live in a hot state and I wear shorts year-round..I haven't shaved my legs for 2 weeks and I even had a dream last night that I shaved my legs. This is the longest that I've ever gone!

I don't like society telling me to shave my legs! If it was actually healthier for me to shave my legs I would do it, but I don't think that it is! Is it?

Any other females out there decide to not shave their legs?

PS My hubby of 15 years loves me no matter what--hairy legs or not! I even shaved my head in the past--twice--and hubby still found me to be the hottest woman on earth..
I have never seen any studies done on which way is heathier and I doubt there is an answer. To shave or not has to be your decision. I don't care what you do but I do care what is socially acceptable and not shaving, especially when you have for so many years may not be particularly attractive..For me, I would never have thought of not shaving. For those who have never started it is a little different or for woman with very little hair. Suit yourself, if you don't care and hubby doesn't it is no one's business. I am more of a conformer.

do you shave your face, what about your arms? I guess you have your answer. By the way, you don't rally buy into the YouTube, do you?

How do you feel about women who shave their nether region? Do you think it's good to shave it off or lave it alone?
