Mullen is found at the health food store, you can smoke it in a pipe. Our natural nutritionalist recommended it for your lungs!
My husband was curious and asked her if there was anything that a person could smoke that would actually be good for them. And that is when she recommended mullen.
We've tried it many times, it's not bad at all. You can't get addicted to it. Just thought I'd share with those who are trying to quit smoking, maybe this would be the way to go! Plus it is very inexpensive. Save your lungs and your money! And still smoke!
Has anyone ever heard of this before or tried it?
Yes, please tell me too..I'd like to know how inhaling smoke is good for anything? Not just the lungs..but the lips, the tongue, the throat, the vocal cords...you get the idea. Smoking is stupid.
Please dont' tell me it's "natural" ganja is natural too and isn't any better for you than tobacco or even this mullen stuff.
I had never heard of Mullein until today but since a lot of people are asking questions I did a bit of research and came up with this site. Essentially what it says is that if you're not a smoker and your lungs are clean and healthy then it will be bad for you. If however you are a smoker and your lungs are full of crud then it will help get rid of it.
I just found the site on Google so I can't verify the reliability of it but it seems pretty knowledgable to me.
the web site is nice, but non descript in how this is truly beneficial, wih the exception of producing "effective coughing" which supposedly rids the lungs of the bad things.
How about waving a dead chicken over the person as well?
I assume that the person writing the article is an herbalist, although I could find no reference to his qualifications, training, etc on the site. f anyone did, I will be happy to satnd corrected.
Being realilstic, smoking anything creates carbon monoxide. That, in turn gets drawn into the bronchial tree and lungs. Carbon monoxide is a pneumotoxin which, by definition, is not healthy for the lungs.
I guess if you want to smoke, go ahead but personally, I will shy away from the herbals altogether.
