I thought the generic was Ocella and since my insurance can't afford the extra 5 bucks, I've been on Ocella for the generic of Yasmin. Well, today I went to pick it up and it was called "Janya". anyone know anything about it? It appears to have the same ingredients but its making me apprehensive..never heard of it before. I also use BC for my acne and I've had crystal clear skin for a good 6 months now that I've been able to keep my BC brand stable, so I'm afraid my skin is going to break out and that I'm going to get all crazy bloated now on this new one. :-/

It is the same product. There is really no reason to expect your body to handle it any differently than it would Yasmin or Ocella.

I did google it and nothing turned up. I actually got mixed up with another brand that showed up. Its called Syed I think. and I worry cause Ocella didn't react in my body the same way the name brand of Yasmin did so I don't know if this one will be even worse. They're always the same but they change some of the non main ingredients which can cause differences with the generic.
