When I got a tetanus shot a few years ago I remember my arm being really sore for a few days afterward, but I can't remember if I felt crappy. I know I did the next day after my flu shot this year.
So you all religiously get these flu shots and those live virus nasal sprays
and then....
You go around SHEDDING the Virus and giving the flu to everyone else.
I have only had the shot once- many, many , many years ago - under duress. The boss paid for it for everyone and told us that if we didn't take it and got the flu we would be fired. Several of the people got the flu from the shot! I didn't have any problem. The needle broke with the nurse's first try at the injection.

You cannot get the flu from the shot. If you got the flu anyway, you were either exposed before the vaccine had time to work (it takes about 2 weeks) or you were infected with a strain that was not in the vaccine.
The live virus may be shed, but it will not cause someone to have the flu. It is modified so that it cannot survive past the nose.
From your link:
"However, serious illnesses have not been reported among unvaccinated persons who have been infected inadvertently with vaccine viruses."
The flu shot is useless. Doesn't anyone think why the flu virus is never eradicated? It has a slightly different variation each year, it's a virus highly prone to mutations.

Just because the vaccine is less than perfect does not make it useless.
I am told to get this jab every year because with coeliac disease I am supposedly in the "weak immune system" category but the funny thing is my immunity is excellent and I hardly ever get ill ever. So most years I don't bother with this jab and when I do have it I feel really ill for ages.
The problem is, they can only vaccinate you for the flu they THINK will be around that year.
There are many strains of flu.
This means it is quite possible to have a shot, yet still get the flu. I did.
I had the flu myself a few years ago (the same year I got a shot), what people call the flu is not the flu. I actually wished for death. I even let my much disliked ex husband into my house to look after my kids because I simply could not get out of bed for about 5 days.
The test for influenza is this - if someone placed a $100 dollar bill in a field, would you go and get it?
If you have a virus, you probably would. If you have the flu, it could be $1000 and you still wouldn't care enough to budge.
I was forced to get a flu shot at work, so I went along with it. What a mistake. My arm swelled up like a football, I got sick (but not AS sick) and ended up having 3 days in bed. Never, ever again...and I have had the actual flu and I know how bad it is.
The side effects of the shots are almost as bad in my opinion, and pretty much useless for healthy people, or if the strain has mutated by the time it gets to you.
I'm not a doctor, so I have not done any medical research as to how effective the flu vaccine is from year to year, but I think that if it saves even a few in the at risk groups then it is worth it. If you don't agree with getting it then don't get it.
