Is there a way to stop your period from coming?
Hi,
Anyone here know if there is a way to stop your period from coming? Or atleast make it start a week later than it should? I'm scheduled to get my period around Oct 28 ugh! I was just wondering if there was anything that I could do at all or even take so that it wouldn't come until the following week after that. Is it possible? Is there anything at all that I can take or something, that will actually work? Ill do just about anything!
If anyone can help please let me know, Thanks.

Only if you're on the pill, and then you can just skip the "placebo" pills... some doctors say it's bad for you, but only if that's done every month. Aside from that, I don't know of any ways - at least none that are safe.

The above is about it. Short of manipulating the pill, getting pregnant, ablation, or menopause, there aren't many choices.

Shucks, I wish there was a way! I'm not on the pill so that is out of the question. Thanks gizmo980 and eddie k for your reply.

I am not sure, but I think that there is a medication that can do this. Female athletes sometime need to do this. Ask your doctor. I think it's probably too late to do it now.

There's a new pill out that has a woman have a 3 day period. I also remember when I was on the pill, all I had to do was take another week from the next month instead of the placebo pills and then I would have my period the following week. Go to a free clinic - there should be one in your area.

yogikarategirl,
It's probably to late now.
What kind of pill is this? I'm not on birth control.
It lowers your period to three days for that particular month?
