Sore Stomach for 2 weeks?
For about 2 weeks I've been having a sore stomach, when I'm looking down at my stomach its kinda under my breast bone and to the right.. I suppose near my liver. But sometimes it's all over my abdomen. I've made an apt with my doctor but its not till monday. I didnt' want to make one right away cause it could have been anything and I dont' wanna run to the doctor every time I have an ache or pain. But its been long enough now. I'm starting to freak out and of course terrible things come to mind like cancer or something. I don't have the runs, or constipation or gas, fever , chills.. Nothing.. It just hurts.. Its weird.. It will hurt more if I lay down and push on it also. Or when I wake up in the morning. Anyone think of what this could be.. or ease my mind cause its starting to run wild!!!

Nope havent' found anything that makes it worse or better... Its not like double over my god im gonna die pain.. its just slightly sore. When I'm out and about doing things I honestly don't even notice it. At first it hurt more but its faded.. its complicated lol cause FIRST I had pain in my throat... not a sore throat but pain.. I went to the ER at like 3 in the morn cause i couldn't sleep they jsut said it was laryngitis, even though I never lost my voice or anything.. Then my stomach started to hurt. I thought maybe it was somehow connected, but it seems silly... Its very odd , thats why I'm made the doc apt. but I thought maybe someone had something similar happen to them. LOl I feel like I sound like a hypocondriac but I'm not honestly

My husband had a weird pain like that also. It turned out that he had shingles?!. He was able to be treated and the pain went away after a few weeks. Good luck at your appointment.

I think with shingles the other symptoms come on quick...not two weeks. I may be wrong.

Well with my husband he didn't ever develop a rash like chicken pox. He had a couple of spots and that was it. The pain was the worst of it.

We all fear cancer. I don't think that is a symptom of cancer. I wish I could ease your mind. Try to keep your mind off the idea that it is something bad.

looking at it, probably. I am serious! and if you get in to the provider quick enough, 48-72 hours, you may be able to get an antiviral that helps shorten the outbreak and help with the INTENSE pain.
