Asthma, Anyone have and treat it with natural remedies?
I have been diagnosed with mild ashtma. I have been trying different methods. Recently I read that B-12 shots work, especially for those that are also allergic to sulfa drugs like I am. Years ago I remember complaining of shortness of breath but the doctors could find nothing wrong with me. A doctor was giving me B-12 for Chronic Fatigue and while it didn't cure the fatigue it did cure my shortness of breath. So I am going to get B-12 shots once a week for a while to see if it works. (The reason why my shortness of breath came back was because 5 years later I was exposed to smoke from a two month long fire in the area where I lived.)
I am also taking Vitamin C 1000 mg. a day, juicing almost daily, taking Vitamin E, and Ginko. Anyone else have any other ideas or have any success without resorting to inhalers, which I refused?

Are you someone who is drawn to dairy products or wheat? Usually the foods you crave are the foods that are weakening your health. Most asthmatics need to cut out dairy and sometimes heat because they CREATE mucous. Without mucous, there is nothing to cause asthma attacks and clog airways. Also, if you cut out the mucous producing foods for lets say 6 months and boost your intake of anti oxidants. You can take up to 10,000 mgs of Vit C or bowel tolerance per day. When you reach bowel tolerance, cut back the amount until your bowels can tolerate it. Quercitin/ Bromelin with Magnesium is good for Asthma.
You really should see a good naturopath to be put on a customized program.
If you want, send me a PM and I'll send you contact info of some excellent naturopaths with patients all over the world who do phone appointments and can definitely help you.

Thank you.
We only have one naturopath here, and I felt he was a quack from some things he said. He was going to run up my bill to over $3,000. Then his wife is on thyroid meds when he said he could cure my thyroid, plus he used those footesy baths that I have learned are fake. I looked up and toxins do not go out of your body via feet, and the water turns reddish black anyway.
Interesting what you say about milk and wheat. While I am not allergic to either maybe it would help.
