Kefir, khir, yogurt - all common.

Perhaps you're just confusing your geographical locations up - and forget that Asia is a continent, and not a country. If you're referring specifically to China, there are less than 2 billion people living there, and some of them DO eat dairy. If you're referring to Japan, there are less than 200,000 people living there, and many of them DO eat dairy. If you're referring to the two combined, that's still less than 2 billion - which means - there aren't "billions of Asian people" hardly eating any dairy at all.
I was thinking something similar. Generalizing doesn't really mean much. Of course there are some from Asia, depending on the country that eat little dairy products, but to as you say, Asia is a huge continent and much of the population eat some or a lot of dairy products...

Drinking milk can leech calcium of your bones. Harvard School of Public Health » The Nutrition Source » Calcium and Milk: What’s Best for Your Bones and Health?. Personally, fresh fermented milk products were the only milk products I cared about long time ago. Since, the milk resembling crap in the stores can't be fermented, I do just fine without milk.

please do not post such ignorant accusations unless you can back it up !!!!!!!

all milk that leaves the farm is tested for antibiotics and bacteria and have very strict standards

kinda debunks your accusations about .." full of cow pus ' and "pesticides"--------etc

Milk had been found to contain antibiotics, growth hormones, painkillers and pesticides. That is why some prefer to drink organic milk.

Some don't drink milk at all.

Do some research..........

Organic milk contains growth hormones and pesticides too. Since cows produce bovine growth hormone because, y'know, they're cows... and cows eat vegetarian-based food, which comes from plants, which comes from the ground, which is treated with pesticides EVEN ON ORGANIC FARMS. Not sure about the antibiotics and painkillers - I've never seen any homogenized, pasteurized milk containing either of those substances.

Do some research.

Cows are given injections of hormones, and feed contains antibiotics to keep them from getting sick.

I have actually done my research, in person, on a farm. I was hired to give injections to babies and spent quite a bit of time in the barns. I saw the actual feed bags and read the warning labels.

Cows are given hormones to make them produce more milk than they would naturally.

Since I switched from dairy milk to Soy milk I feel so much better. It's rich in vitamin D and I don't have the allergy problems anymore that were associated with the dairy milk.

EDUCATION TIME !

a sample is taken from every farm bulk tank every time milk leaves the farm.

ANY antibiotics or pesticides found in that milk results in the whole truckload being condemned and the farmer who contaminated that load in big trouble !

Yes, there is medication in some baby calf feed .

However, baby calves are NOT milked until about 2 years old !

Were you hired to put the milking units on baby calves ?
