WASHINGTON (AP) -- The government announced an 11th-hour recall Wednesday to warn consumers that fake Halloween teeth sold by the tens of thousands since last year contain excessive amounts of lead.

When will the U.S. and its people stop buying products from China? already 11 recalls. I know that when we unpack our christmas tree lights they are not going anywhere but in the trash since they have lead in them.

I think these recalls are not in vein. The US will again start making a lot more products (as is already happening) and it will be better for us in the long run.

I think all toys should be made in the U.S. from now on - until china can get their s*** together. The govt. will never let this happen though - in the name of almighty capitalism.

Yes, the price of the toys will go up. Not too bad, we'll have to go back to the old days, when kids only had one doll (like I did) instead of 5 - cause they are so cheap.

And yes, I have always made it a point to get made in the u.s. toys. Never thought much of mattel toys. They are mostly cheap and junky. I buy on the internet or at this cool hobby store near us.

I buy Lucky Brand jeans, American Made clthes All American Clothing:Clothes Made in the USA:Union Made Clothing and American Apparel. Sometimes even places like Steve and Barry's will have some American made clothes. And I NEVER buy food from China, ESPECIALLY FISH.

I think most things should be made in the U.S.- groove, i hope you are correct. now i do like getting imports from other countries, like things they crafted. but now even our drugs are dangerous coming from China and India.
