My husband doesn't have insurance and I have a membershipto Sams Club through my job so we get his prescriptions there. What used to cost me $162 at one pharmacy now cost $37 at Sams.

Do you live in New York? I don't know if you qualify, but I found this:

Do you have a Walgreen's in your area? They have a prescription club that saved me a ton of money. You pay $20/year to belong and there are a list of meds that you can get much cheaper. Check out their website for the list of all the meds and prices that are part of the program. Also, if your med isn't on the chart they do discount it some.

For example.......my doc prescribed 2 new meds and called them into WalMart, my regular pharmacy. The cost for ONE month of those 2 meds was $100. When I knew that I couldn't afford that I went looking around and found out that with the Walgreen's club I could get THREE months of both of them for $60 total. $300 vs. $60......no brainer!

I have heard that non-members can use Costco's pharmacy, though I have not due to distance.

This is true. You do not need a membership to buy prescriptions at their pharmacy.
