My son recently had surgery. He was sent home with post op instructions that included a liquid diet for x days and then a soft food diet for x days. The list of suggested foods for the soft diet is typical, except for "junior foods for protein." Is this just a strange way of saying "baby food?" I've googled "junior food diet" and I'm not getting anywhere. I can live without feeding him this. I'm just curious what it means.
I would call and ask a nurse. It doesn't matter what time of day, just ask for the nurses station and see what the heck junior food is. And when you find out, please post it. I'm curious.
I think they mean baby food. The junior baby food is usually in bigger jars and is slightly less liquified. It's for bigger babies.
