Not sure where to stick this weird thread but I have trouble remembering colors. I can see them just fine and can identify them (had to pass a color blindness test for work). So the problem is when I go out with a friend or acquaintance, I have to memorize the color of the car so I can get back to it. Seriously, I would be a terrible eye witness! If you asked me what color the house next door is... I wouldn't be able to tell you even though I see it every day. If you asked me what my (kidnapped) son was wearing... I couldn't say! Yet I dream in color (wake up with memory of whether it was color or black/white but not specific colors of things) and am clearly not colorblind.

I have searched and searched for others that have this problem but can only find a few in my own family, namely a daughter...

Anyone else experience this??

Thanks for the link. I have a more severe case where my brain seems to ignore the color altogether but the article is interesting.
