Use hot veggie broth. Pacific foods makes a really good one. I use that when I feel out of it. Really helps.

Nope, he's actually called a miniature horse. If you "google" them, you'll see what I'm talking about. They range, in body type, from cobby and blocky, to an Arabian-looking type. They are different from a Shetland. Minis are considerably smaller. I haven't measured my little guy lately, but when I first bought him, December 2006, he was 26" tall. A year later, he's probably around 28", though that's just a guess. He probably won't top out over 30". Haven't tried Nyquil on him, though he might drink it, goofy horse. He'll drink Coke, although, obviously, I don't give that to him often.; just a slurp now and then. He's basically a walking garbage can, when it comes to people food. If I offer it to him, he'll eat it! Good thing for him, I don't do that often. He'd look like a butterball! But, I'm mean and make him eat hay and pellets, just like a real horse!LOL
Hey, did you try the hot toddy last night? Did it help, at all? I hope so, and I hope you feel better. I'd feel bad, suggesting something to you, that didn't do anything. All I know is that it helps my crew.

I tried the toddy last night and was awake at 1 and 2 and 3 finally got up at 3:30am. I guess I didn't put enough liquor in it. I am feeling a little bit better today though.

A grilled-cheeese sandwich...well, whatever helps! Hve no idea why it's called a hot toddy. Wonder if Wikkipedia has something on that?
No, can't ride him. Way too small. But, because he's small, I can keep him on my 1/2 acre lot, whereas a full-size horse, I couldn't. Not that I wouldn't like a full-size, but it's not in the cards, at the moment. Oh, and his name is Dundee.

lol you would have thought I did. My 3 year old had a lot to do with it too. I was hoping to pass out into oblivion and let my hubby deal with him but it didn't work out that way
