New Study States Zetia May Not Be Beneficial (doctor, danger, scan)

I was watching the news tonight and it was announced a new study just released today from Merck and Schering-Plough that Zetia which is in Vytorin may not be doing it's job. If you take this drug, as I do, you need to read these results and consult you doctor. I know I will.

May not be beneficial? Heck, it's downright dangerous. The story I read in the NY Times indicated it contributed to the accumulation of plaque in many cases. And Merck and Schearing withheld the results of their study for more than two years in order to keep selling that drug. That's pretty dangerous to me. And I am not going to be polite about these sort of scandals...the pharmaceutical companies need the public to trust them, and this sort of news clearly undermines their credibility.
