A new blood test researches call a liquid biopsy shows the ability to detect cancer without going through a biopsy or ct scan. It can help detect cancer, help show if cancer treatments are working and help show if the cancer is gone. A recent study of 126 lymphoma patients found the test predicted cancer coming back more than 3 months before it showed up on a ct scan. Researchers say more testing on accuracy is needed but that this is very promising and can change the diagnosis of cancer.

I personally think this is wonderful news. I personally believe that cutting into cancer during a biopsy can spread the cancer and that ct scans contain unacceptable levels of radiation. Now this test makes it much safer and easier to test for cancer
