This has been going on for almost a month. I have searched the internet for a cause, and a cure, and there are lots of theories, but no definitive answers.
I know it isn't a wax issue, as I recently had both ears cleaned out at the doctor's and have been keeping on top of the wax by using hydrogen peroxide every few weeks.
The most likely cause, in my case is jaw related. When the sensation starts, I often realize I'm either clenching my jaw, or resting my chin in my hand. But, it isn't always the case, so I'm not sure.
Has anybody else dealt with this, and if so, what kind of doctor (or dentist) was able to help?
Check with your dentist or orthodontist for a dis-located jaw. I had a similar experience one time and the dentist recognized it and popped it back in place. Felt better afterwards.
