My eyes and my daughters eyes are blue with gold in the middle. They are different but we like them and others seem to also. They are like cat eyes. Both of my sisters have hazel eyes. It's really weird the way a persons eyes come out with such a variety of colors in them!!

Mine are brown, but my mother's are blue, so I guess I share the "common ancestor" as well.  |

I've got the same mysterious eyes as above poster's daughter: ring of blue, green in the middle, ring of brown around pupil. I call it hazel. They look awesome when I'm tan.

Mine are ring of dark blue, lighter blue in the middle, and a ring of amber/yellow around the pupil. They appear to be green unless you get right up in my face, so that's what I call them.

That's okay - "black" eyes were on the poll as well... !! And unless it was "funny" - no one has black eyes.
I have blue for what its worth - as does my mother and my husband. So, if we have kids - blue eyes are it!! (double recessive = blue!)

Its more like a combination of hazel, green and brown but actually none of the above. When the postmaster was stumped while we were getting passports and the pediatrician was stumped during her appointments, I sort of gave up. |

Mine are a grey / blue color, but when I get mad they become intense blue / green.
Normal below. No one is brave enough to get near me when I'm angry, so not blue green to share.
