Got a couple friends that got hit pretty hard by Viagra side effects but still said it was worth it. Hitting 40 has slowed me down, need to figure out a way to reverse. Also interested in other techniques, whether it's dietary changes, new exercise regime, etc.
At 52 I use Cialis 10mg. Kind of rely on it, sadly. The worst part is the heartburn. It lasts for days and it's killer. I go through about 100 Tums in the week after I use it. That's the only side effect for me.

Ugh, I'm pretty susceptible to heartburn. However it probably would be worth it. How did you arrive at Cialis vs. Viagra? Did you see a primary care doctor, did you try out other options before settling on it. I definitely am in need of something despite being only 40.

I never tried Viagra. I think I started Cialis because I heard it lasts longer. I didn't go through my doctor because as ridiculous as it sounds, I was embarrassed. My buddy is a psychiatrist in another state and he just phones in a prescription for me.
40 seems young though. I'd definitely see a doctor and rule out everything else first. I started around 41 but only because I was dating someone I wasn't really attracted to. Since then it's been kind of a crutch. I have friends my age that don't use anything, or so they say. Everyone is different.

Funny you mention that- I had this same thing happening in the relationship I was just in. The emotional connection was very strong for me, not as much physically so I'm wondering if that was the problem. Hopefully find out soon!
But yes, I would see a doctor as it does seem kind of young, just to make sure something else isn't wrong. My brother in law would call in a prescription for me but I guess it's better to get a good solid exam.
Whoa! Do you buy that somewhere or make it yourself?
My urologist prescribes it for me. Trimix is a common drug for guys with my condition. I am on a cancer survivor forum where a number of the posters there are using Trimix.
My co-pay is $17 for two bottles, which is maybe 10 doses per bottle.
I had prostate cancer, it was very aggressive [gleason 9, stage 2c]. They had to remove my prostate along with much of the other tissue in the region. This included the nerve-bundle that would normally connect brain to the mechanism that controls 'blood engorging' of a penis. With that nerve-bundle gone, my brain can no longer cause an erection.
Trimix works really good, one dose and I am rock hard for hours.
