A pharmacist friend of ours was talking of this medicine used to treat heroin, amongst other drugs, addiction.. Very fast, cleanses mind , nuerotransmitters reset,and body detox.
Thoughts? Experience?

I wouldn't take it on a bet. Even Hunter S. Thompson was scared of it, which tells you everything you need to know. It's a hallucinogenic drug, and can have serious side effects. There is no short cut or magic bullet to addiction, as every person has to figure it out for themselves. The opiates are especially difficult to get off as they chemically change the brain and body, but it can be done. People DO get off them if the motivation is high enough.

Don't forget that morphine was clinically used to get people off opium, then heroin was used to get people off the morphine, and now methadone is used to get people off the heroin. God only knows what new addictive drug the doctors will devise to get people off the methadone! Here's some links to the drug you're interested in.
