Of the ones you have listed it depends. I guess I put stomach virus as I see that and the most acute and one with the most dangers in a short period and very uncomfortable. But if it is only for 24hrs it is not too bad.
Coughs that last a while can be very annoying especially for sleep and they can linger for 2-3 weeks. The other two while very uncomfortable can usually be controlled decently with medication. Stomach issues and Coughs are hard to control with medicine.
The worst thing I've ever had was an evil flu strain in the late 1980s. It seems that having survived that mess has made me immune to some of the newer, novel virus combos. I read a very interesting article about it a few years ago.
Yeah, rabies is almost 100% fatal if not treated pretty immediately.
I'd have to go with retroviridae (HIV) or Epstein-Barr (involved in a lot of bad stuff). Then of course there is the flu. Ebola (and Marburg) are awful but not as common so I didn't count those.
Of the list in the poll, I would have to say that tonsillitis would be terrible. I haven't had it but I've heard it is painful. I have had bad food poisoning and it was pretty bad too.
Well, they all suck if you get them badly enough. I have a nasty sore throat right now. I'm knocking back super strength Vitamin C tablets like candy. Tonsillitis must be horrible. But vomiting viruses are also very nasty.
Personally, I hate feeling nauseous and vomitting...so that would be the worst choice for me. The worst thing I had to deal with was the H1N1 flu my son had. Watching your teenager be that sick is scary.
