hi everybody,

you might have noticed, that the sun is warmer every day (at least here http://forums.acadianamoms.com/image.../icon_wink.gif) and spring is coming on strong. time to wear short and sexy clothes again... but not for me. I feel fat (feel?! I am http://forums.acadianamoms.com/image...s/icon_sad.gif) atm and want to do something about it. problem is: I don´t have enough time to look after myself (I mean work-out, low fat cooking). what is your tip for me? I mean besides starving. http://forums.acadianamoms.com/image...icon_smile.gif

Can you walk fast? Can you spare 45 minutes a day?

Walking Calories Calculator by Pace and Distance

A good-paced 45 minute walk every day burns 350 calories, means you lose 2450 calories per week.

Drop your food intake by just 150 calories per day - thats another 1050 per week.

Keep that up and you'll lose at least a pound per week (it's 3500 calories per pound of wieght, approx)

Do some resistance exercise at home - lift light weights, do 30-50 sit-ups, press-ups every day and you'll lose another 1lb a week.

Six weeks = 12lbs lost!

PS Get an ipod, radio etc to walk with, really helps!

HI there!
I find that drinking lots, peferable unsweetened ice tea or yerba mate helps keep my appetite down, so I don't feel hungry and eat less, without feeling deprived. I buy the Guyaki mint mate and have one of those in the morning or there is another brand called Bombilla Gourd, that is a bit cheaper, their teas are good too. And just little things help, like parking further away from stores and walking, taking stairs instead of the elevator etc.
