I have 7 hepatic adenomas due to my birth control. I have had to take steps to try and reduce them (currently working), see a hepatologist every 2 months and have an MRI with contrast every two months to check up on them. Although, this next time they are going to try just an ultrasound. The doctor says he's never had a patient have more than 1 or 2 adenomas and that having children will be risky. The largest one was just under 6 centimeters big and all but 2 were over the 4 centimeter mark. This last month they said it looks like I will not have to remove the bottom third of my liver due to how much they have shrunk but it's not off the board if they grow back or if one ruptures again.

I was wondering if anyone else has had multiple adenomas and what their treatment was like? Are you able to have children just fine or were there issues? Did yours all go away completely or do they grow back every now and then or always stay small?

Also, did any of you have any symptoms or how did you find out that you had them? My doctor never had me do any tests for my BC she just kept refilling them. I didn't have any symptoms until one night one or two (they aren't completely sure when the second bled) ruptured and started bleeding causing severe pain.
