The OP specifically said elbow and the carpal tunnel is in no way shape or form connected to the elbow....

I've had tennis elbow for months now, and it's just now starting to heal. If I do too much it starts hurting again. The main offender? -- the touch pad on my laptop. If I use it for very long, it really makes the elbow start to hurt again. A mouse, not so much, so mostly I use the main computer.
