I am 65 and I think I, and perhaps each of us have one or two unidentified or rare "syndrome" of some kind. Most of these syndromes are probably benign, perhaps more just aggravating or maybe spooky.

One of the syndromes I recently experienced was a tightness around my chest and upper torso that initiates at my back and wraps around my upper body, even slightly effecting my neck and mouth. It is painful but not wincingly painful and goes on for about 10 minutes before fading, but a mild aftermath can be felt for about 24 hours. I first experienced this "syndrome" about 10 years ago and have had about 20 episodes over the years. No doctor can figure it out and I have given up trying, chalking it up as an unknown, probably rare syndrome.

Another "syndrome" I experience is to have to brief but intense pains simultaneously hitting two different body parts. For example; I might have a five second sharp pain in my right wrist and an identical pain in my right foot. At both locations the pain is intense but very short in duration, coming and going at both places at exactly the same instant. This curiosity began about 15 years ago. It is another one I have mentioned to a doctor or two at one time or another. It is usually good for a quizzical expression and a shrug.

Sounds like some sort of nerve issue. If you've made it this many years without it doing anything really bad to you, you probably shouldn't worry about it a lot.
