I have pets and work with horses, therefore I use dryer sheets. Without them I would never get the hair out of my clothes. I doubt wool balls would help that.

Yes.I use them because dryer sheets may seem like magic, but there is a bit of science that goes into those static assassins.

Dryer sheets have a thin layer of lubricant, which is electronically conductive, resulting in softer feeling clothes and reduced static electricity. The chemicals that make up dryer sheet fabric softeners target electrostatic charges and eliminate those that linger on the top of fabrics thus resulting in no shock.

Well I''m kind of extreme, perhaps, but I don't use dryer sheets and try to stick to unscented cleaning and beauty products for health concerns.

The extreme part? I also have never owned a microwave for the same reason. I know, I know, there's supposedly no harm in using them. But when I read not to use them to heat up baby formula or milk, I decided to treat myself like a baby and not to use for food or liquids.

I normally air day my laundry, but when I do have to put items in a dryer, I use dryer sheets. And when I do use dryer sheets, my cat immediately climbs on the freshly dried laundry, and his favorite fragrance is Lavender, but he doesn't climb on the laundry if it doesn't smell like fabric softener.

sometimes i don't use anything but even though our dryer has an anti static feature sometimes i still use the sheets because they help with the static but honestly its not the end of the world if you need to save money or are worried about health.

I had read somewhere a long time ago, dryer sheets and fabric softner are completely toxic.

I dont use either of them, ever....................JMO.

we have enough chemicals around us, i dont feel they are that necessary to use and to take that chance. JMO
