This might sound really paranoid, but do you think it's possible to contract ebola from products imported from West Africa? (Supposedly the products come from Ghana, but I'm not 100% sure that during production they never were in contact with the ebola-affected nations somehow).

Specifically I want to order raw unrefined African Black Soap and raw Shea Butter.

Is it a bad idea?

Even if ebola infected blood was on the outside of the product it would only live a few days. Shipping will take longer than that.
