My mom just told me that I talk in my sleep. In my career field, a lot of jobs are national security positions potentially involving classified information. What are the odds of me accidentally blurting out classified information? Should I be worried about this prospect?

Lots of people talk in their sleep but usually it's not anything coherent enough to reveal any kind of secrets.

I guess you could make an audio recording of yourself while sleeping and see what you're saying, if it's real sentences or just random words, grunts, moans, whimpers, etc.

It isn't anything I'd lose sleep over.

Odds are whatever you are saying isn't going to make sense... and yes, I've been recorded talking in my sleep before. Once it was something about diving into the toilet to catch the goldfish I had just flushed...

(I've never had an aquarium)

The dream world is another world. I don't recall dreams in my early life when I did NOT take my sleep remedy and now since on it I dream non stop and some nights are a lot of fun. Dreaming I believe means one is getting deep restortative sleep. The healing sleep. I wouldn't be concerned about the talking. I may talk but no one here to tell me so.
