How many pills do you take per day? You don't have to say what they're for unless you just want to. I try to avoid taking medication whenever possible but I'm currently taking one pill a day. I have to give myself a mental pep talk before I take it because I just hate swallowing pills...and it's a small pill that goes down pretty easily too. Anything larger, I just can't do it.

7 on Monday. That's 6 pills of methotrexate and 1 of prilosec.
The other days - 1 folic acid (methotrexate depletes it) and 1 prilosec.

On a physician's recommendation, I take Omega 3 fish oil to (hopefully) keep my blood pressure down. But other than a 2-month Harvoni regimen to address a positive Hepatitis C diagnosis (successful - so far) I've never been on prescription medication of any kind.

I also occasionally use aspirin for headaches and diephenhydramine to fall asleep (the latter more often than the former).

It is pretty hard to answer, depending on what the op meant about pills? If we are just talking all pills. I take more than 6 a day because I take 2 fish oil and one D each morning. As for other pills I only take 4:

statin
blood pressure
thyroid
allergy

I sometimes take advil but not on a regular basis. The 3 prescription drugs mentioned are min dosage.

Zero pills for me. I'm 62 and have never had any medical issues other than the occasional cold.
