So long story short I found out recently through MRI that I have a narrowing of the spinal canal stenosis. This would explain my back pain and flank pain I had for a good month. Recently I started having a little tingling feeling in my left foot if I lay down, sit in specific ways, and sometimes when I stand/walk. I and due to see the specialist in 4 days. I already know my condition can be very serious (which can lead to nerve damage, including paralysis or death). So from anyone else's experience with neurofibromatosis or even tumors, how long would I need to wait for surgery?
it's genetic. I got my surgery date and its going to be 1 and a half weeks from now. 2 weeks form when I saw the neurologist. I can't take anti-inflammatories 7 days before surgery but my doctor gave me oxycodone. Kinda nervous taking something like that but I'm trying doing it without any painkillers just to see how bad it can get. Seems I can barely move the right way due to the back pain, aside from the tingling feeling in my legs. I really want this done as quick as possible. . .I'm sure the after surgery pain won't be this stressful on my body.
