This is human augmentation at it's finest. People just don't consider what the future is going to look, smell, and feel like. The global elite put so much shullbit right under our noses and we still fall to pay attention, because the fact that we ignore so much.

I embrace gene editing as well.

Some folks would be upset but the facts are that rich people dictate policy and if they have a chance to make their offspring with no obesity related genes, no male pattern baldness, no risk of personality disorders etc. then they will sign up for it in a heartbeat

No need to get all excited. Genetics is not well understood, at all, an maybe (probably) never will be. If you edit genes to create a superior baby, you will most likely get a monster, or something with horrible diseases.

Sorry but just because YOU don't understand genetics does not mean that "no one" does...

That will not an easy task in america.
Gene editing for disease will pass ethics.
