Basic Health Checks (blood pressure, doctor, heart rate, medical)

Hi All,

What basic health checks do you recommend for someone in their 30's?

Embarrassed to say that I have most of my adult years, but never really used it.

Any advice on exams and/or testing that should be made a priority would be great.

Just a routine physical exam should do it, which likely would include basic labs. The doctor will check your blood pressure, heart rate, take your temp, measure height and weight, listen to your lungs and heart, etc.

Your doctor will decide what tests to run at your annual physical. Usually they write a script for blood work at a lab. Maybe urine test, fecal test. These are standard.


Your doc should know what tests to order based on examination results and medical history.
