In 2017, my wife had Stem Cell treatment for MS in a high end clinic in CAL. While they did not promise anything, it proved to have no relief or improvement of symptoms. It cost $20 K and while it may have helped some, I think the majority do not get any help. While I am not ready to say it is a complete hoax, do not expect miracle cures. There is a class action law suit that may be working its way through the courts. I DO think that stem cells do have a future, but I am pretty skeptical about it at this point.

Sorry did not help your wife. My sister's MS specialists kept telling her stem cells are coming. She died waiting for them. Would they have made a difference for her, don't know. She spent mega $1000's on all the drugs and she is gone at 68.

Now a neighbor with MS went to Dominican Republic yrs ago and it cost her $25K and it seemed to have given her good results. I know there are a couple types of MS or more, and I think her's was the opposite of my sisters.

You may find this info interesting. I could not get my sister to work with Grape Seed Ex.

Just heard from my former neighbor with MS and had Stem cells from D.R. and also taking LDN, well she sounds great and it's 40 yrs of MS for her....she doesn't have the same type MS my sister had. If the stem cells and LDN would have helped my sister we'll never know.

My friend uses a walker and had to give up driving and she'll be 69...she's happy to be alive.

Now for me IF I had a spare $8K or so I'd have up to 3 injections series of PRP/Stem Cells each in my lower back, Knee and ankle. The doc says he will often do 30-40 jabs in each joint to cover all the areas of the joint...So one does not know how many series they will need for this to work...and as he says, no guarantees....but I've had Prolotherapy and it did work about 10 yrs ago in shoulder.

Help and relief for Multiple Sclerosis MS Symptoms

Are you aware that the symptoms of MS tend to remit and relapse, even with no treatment?

Oh you know that and it's too bad my sister's NYC specialists didn't...as they kept pouring $1000's of every MS drug they have into her body...didn't save her.

The question was..
"Anyone Tried Stem Cell Treatment Yet?"
20 out of 36 posts made by someone that could not answer the question.
So helpful.

I had never heard of stem cell procedure like PRP until I went to see an Ortho at the Angeles Hospital Complex, a medical tourism facility, in Tijuana's Rio Zona district, A number of Canadians come down to this facility.

I was there to have a Baker's Cyst aspirated, and while there, he discussed future options like PRP, $700 per knee, or $900 for both knees.

Really not interested, being that it's nothing more than a stopgap measure, that will, hopefully, leave you trouble free for 12-18 months.

Bear in mind, there's Dr.'s in San Diego who have offices in both Tijuana and San Diego, in that if they're not allowed to perform a procedure not yet approved in the U.S., you can have it done at their office in Tijuana.

Here is the MD I hear every weekend and he's been doing this work for 20 yrs....I'm one who would rather take chances with this protocol than lots of drugs and invasive surgeries...done both and don't want any more.

Stem Cell Therapy, PRP Therapy, Prolotherapy in Los Angeles

BTW: I hear more and more doing this work and more and more live with failed/botched surgeries. I do with hip replacement. If one does NOT live with complications from joint surgeries then you don't know...to go back and do them again and again...good grief.

But yet HA injections (SynVisc etc) are paid by insurance and they do not do much if anything. Been there too.

You went to T.J. for a Baker's Cyst, don't doctors in U.S. and Canada do these?
