Now this is a prescription drug so hope it's safe here. I heard about this years ago along the OA path but for some reason didn't follow up, thinking back it may have been the cost of the drug when I called CVS. Today my friend brought it to my attention as she was able to get a 3-month trial from a source here and I may get the trial.

Ingredients in Limbrel and there is a 10mg elemental zinc in each capsule.

Anyone know of it? Comments on it?

Thought I'd get some pharma expert comments by now...but no. I've been doing my own research and talking to a friend who started on it a day ago and I know she's sensitive to drugs and hardly takes pain meds for her knees.

Here is a list of Limbrel user reviews and they are mixed as one can expect. Perhaps MANY don't know of this food medicine and I have never seen it advertised on TV. I probably first heard about it maybe 10 yrs ago but dismissed it as I could not afford it anyway.

Well, since nobody is joining in and out of curosity I called CVS for 60 of the 500mg caps and out of pocket, no Pres D insurance, she quoted me $1,132. I almost fell of my chair. Even if I had some Medicare coverage, it can't be much less.
