I did when I lived in Florida because I did not want to get sand in my neighbors house and I usually wore flip flops down there anyway so no big deal about sliding them off on the front porch . I woulod not appreciate someone tracking sand in my house especially with carpet . Up here where I am at now no I dont because Im not dragging in sand or junk on the ground . Im glad you brought this subject up cool beans and thanks .

We remove our shoes before entering the house. We have lived in Hawaii where it is the norm, plus my husband is Japanese and in his culture it is a standard practice. The most compelling reason for our family is what you track in on your shoes. I think it's disgusting to wear your shoes in the house.

I don't watch Dr. Oz, but I heard that he said on his show that you should remove your shoes before entering your home for health reasons. I think it comes down to what you might have stepped in. It's pretty gross if you think about it.
