For those who suffer with Rheumatoid Arthritis or know someone who does, where is the best place to live without pain?

Without pain, if only. I deal with OA and my neighbor RA and we live in So. Calif. I would think cold climates are the hardest places to live for any type of arthritis.

The hot humid summers of Raleigh really bother me. I suffer all summer long.

Oh, some yrs ago I gave thought to leaving LA for Raleigh and visited my cousin who was living there then and as I recall it was summer and I thought I'd die. It wasn't OA so much back then but just in general, love our CA climate and lifestyle. I know my other cousin and I drove to a beach and it was stiffling. My sister just lost her battle with MS and she said the humidity was the WORST for her health.

The Southwest is best for arthritis in the dry heat. The warmer the weather the less you feel the pain of arthritis.

Thank you Jaminhealth. I've been taking K2 for the past 6 weeks and it isn't working for me. My problems consist of chronic Tendonitis

So you don't deal with any type of Arthritis? The K2 is working, it's subtle, no great cures. I suppose yu've done a lot of research on help for tendonitis. I probably have some of that too...

RA and Osteoarthritis are totally different.
As someone who has had RA since the start of last year, climate and seasons are not influential on this disease.

My wife suffers from RA, atmospheric cold does seem to have some effect, but diet and exercise much more.

Still, too early to tell because doctor said episodes of pain could come in waves, in some cases of the same intensity, in other cases of ever greater intensity, in yet other cases of diminishing intensity.

Been about a year now on new diet regime with no episodes of intense pain.

Hope this helps.

Good Luck!
