Thyroid cancer in my late 20's....I'd had Grave's disease 5 years earlier but it hardly counted after the cancer diagnosis and thyroidectomy.

I don't know if I'd call it an injury but from age 1 to age 8 I was in and out of hospitals with high fevers of about 104 and other things. Turns out I was Hypoglycemic. I have outgrown it since and I am 46 now. It took 8 years for a proper diagnosis.

Guillain-Barre Syndrome when I was in my mid-30s It took several years to fully recover.

I had whooping cough as a little kid. That was before they gave DPT shots.

I got diagnosed with heart failure when I was 25. According to the stats I got a 50% chance of passing in the next two years. Hah. Idk. We'll see how it goes I suppose.

Tonsils came out in 1st grade (so 6-ish) - appendix ruptured in 3rd grade (8-ish).
