I love that stuff. I usually didn't eat it everyday until I bought a half gallon and now since so handy to just grab some I am eating it everyday. Anything wrong with that or am I over doing it?

In moderation? Not a problem.

Count the macros, figure out how they fit into your normal healthy diet, make adjustments as needed.

I guess it would depend on the ingredients.
Breyers extra-creamy vanilla frozen dairy dessert: milk, sugar, corn syrup, cream, whey, mono and diglycerides, carob bean gum, guar gum, carrageenan, natural flavor, annatto (for color), vitamin A palmitate, tara gum.

It sure ain't what it use to be.

We're all going to die someday.

Eat what you want, and enjoy.

If it is, I'm doomed. But I don't eat a big dish, I do the 1/2 cup serving or less. I really do get 12 servings out of a 1.5 quart container.

My compliments to the Chemist.

OP, you DO realize the half gallon is the single serving size -- right??

Now THAT was funny!

Agree that if your macros allow the addition it's fine. For me, too much sugar and calories, so if I do eat it, it is going to be something really, really good (Hagaan Dazs, Godiva or similar), and it hasn't happened yet...

I would have to eat romaine leaves the rest of the day.

When I was younger I ate it all the time.

Years ago, when I was a starving grad student, and was between jobs, I ate an apple and an ice cream cone each day. The nice thing about ice cream is that it is filling and eating it doesn't make you feel broke, even if you are.

Obviously, that is not a good longterm diet, but for a couple weeks, it did what I needed it to do.

OP, just buy a good brand with a minimum number of chemistry set ingredients, and limit the amount you eat each day, I'd say about 1/2 cup. Yes, measure it out. Then adjust everything else accordingly. Sure, you'd probably live a few days longer if you avoided it, but if you love ice cream, yes, eat it. Don't wolf it down, savor each incredible spoonful. Then look forward to doing the same thing tomorrow.

I'd suggest Klondikes, one a day, to ration the quantity.

Nope, if that's your fix, go for it. The key thing is moderation and what you've eaten throughout the day. I eat a Skinny Cow frozen ice cream cone daily (not a big fan of "light" ice cream but these desserts are the bomb) with no ill effects whatsoever.
