For MONTHS I have had random instances of runny nose, puffy and dry eyes, headaches, stuffy nose, fever, body chills, sneezing, lots of mucus, my ears feeling like they're plugged, etc. it comes and goes. But it happens every day.
It feels like I'm constantly almost sick but not quite.
I want to know if it's allergies or if it's something more serious like chronic bronchitis. Although I don't have a coughing issue.
Would going to the ER solve this issue? I really don't want to set up an appointment and wait like a month or more
Edit: oops I mean urgent care not ER
I've NOT had congestion issues for over 20 yrs due to taking grape seed ex and in the last 4-5 months it's hit me. Talking to friends, they are feeling this too. For years I never blew my nose and now I'm blowing a lot...something in the air????? different than normal. My friend says many are complaining this years. Maybe chemtrails????
I'm not sick but this congestion I have not had for decades..
Check your local area for a "drop in" Clinic. They might even be listed in your phone book. If not call 211 from your local cell or home phone and ask the volunteer resource referral provider. The volunteers can provide local information about any question that you have and provide you with the phone numbers and contact info.
This is Nation wide, regional specific information, so that is why it is always best to call from a phone that uses your local area code. Very helpful and caring volunteers, 24/7.
Do you have MediQuick or MedExpress or something similar? That's where you can go for a checkup without waiting. I wouldn't go to the ER for something like that... you'll be there for hours and hours because pretty much everyone else will be seen first due to triage. Also, you risk picking up some nasty germs in the ER. Only go there if it's a matter of life or death.
Do you have insurance? If so, through whom? I have Kaiser (employer-paid), and sometimes use the ER when I need to be seen that day - even if it's not really an "emergency" in the major sense. For example, when I sprained my ankle but had to work late, I went after work around 11pm. It was empty, I was seen immediately, and it only cost me a $20 co-pay.
