Ouch. I fell on my face while hiking last March. Luckily, my hands went out to cushion the blow, and I turned my head just in time to avoid a broken nose. I was pretty banged up, and my glasses broken, but no broken bones.
A guy in McDonald's that saw my bruises a couple of days later thought my husband beat me and told me that Jesus loved me.
Just rest, take your meds, and follow the doctor's advice. What needs to be done depends on the severity of the fractures.
When you say facial fracture was it just your nose or one of your other facial bones?
I have fallen on my face twice both times landing on my right eye socket, but never had an xray of the area.
Hospital ER took X-rays. I just went to ER doctor and no other. Fall on nose and forehead only. Feel much better today. More worried about hospital bill because my health insurance deductible is 2200.00
Thank you all for the help.
