Have thyroid hormones checked, and TSH is not a thyroid hormone it is a pituitary hormone, thyroid hormone include Free t4, Free t3, Reverse t3 is what you want tested with TSH too. Free T4 over moderate values (say over 1.4) can cause ocular migraine, and you want that Reverse T3 as low as possible (zero is ideal) and Free t3 well into the 3's pg/mL (e.g. US labs). Sometimes a really low Free t3 like in low 1's or 2's can cause an ocular migraine
OTC migraine preventatives, what I understand and no experience:
Riboflavin (up to 400mg with meals)
Magnesium (up to 400mg)
CoQ10 (100mg 3x/day)
