I don't have time to cook with those kinds of things every day and I like variety. I often cook with garlic, so I could probably do without the pill, only I take it mainly for cutting down on bug bites. When I don't take it the bugs chew my limbs off. The garlic lessens that so its fairly tolerable. Most times. I work often 50+ hours a week, so don't have the time to cook as much I would like.

I've gotten to where I not only don't mind the taste, I actually like it. It takes the place of that first cup of coffee most people prefer.
That actually sounds really good! I think I might try it!

Coming from Italian heritage where my Nonna had Garlic hanging across the kitchen ceiling, my husband still says that the Vampires will never step foot in our home. "I just bought a Gallon of Olive Oil". "What do you mean it's all gone?" lol

For past 1.5 years am only taking OTC help to sleep.. given my 48 years career on "SHIFT" that has messed with my " Bio-rhythms" I actually have it easy to fall asleep.. BUT often wake up within a few hours and mind/thoughts get activated. Thank Gawd for 24 hour TV availability now... Back in the day, I use to watch Evangelical TV as that was the ONLY thing available!!

Anyway.. I don't complain NOW because I am retired.. so, as long as I get at least 6 hours total.. wake up feeling okay.. I feel I'm ahead of the game!!

BUT during my working time.. I always feared sleeping in

Over the years, I have been on prescription meds for various medical issues.. Finally feel I have a handle on them!! I'm not doing great.. but heck.. I will not complain comparing what others have to deal with!!I'm an "Empathic" individual and sure do understand what others endure daily!!

Oh Yeah.. My career was HC ( frontline) industry!!

I have a heart condition which requires me to take a very large dose of antibiotics before dental work. If I don't take a probiotic with the antibiotics it can cause problems. Yogurt isn't enough!

No supplements.

Four prescription meds: 2 for hypertension, 1 for diabetes, 1 for hypercholesterolemia.

Why are we asking?
