If you

Good read, not sure if it's believable as there are a couple of assumptions that it makes:

1.) Moore's law will continue indefinitely.
2.) Assuming #1 is true, the AIs that we build won't turn against us.
3.) Nuclear war doesn't happen.

Lets just say we can live that long, don't you think we would run out of resources really fast? We are already an overpopulated planet. If no one dies how do we support everyone?

It's just Ray Kurzweil speculating again. Take it with tons of grains of salt.

Rich people will live. Everyone else will die. I didn't read the article, but if we start turning into cyborgs, which is how I think the evolution of people will proceed, imagine how expensive that will be. The common man will have no chance. Only the rich will benefit from this technology.

There is absolutely no science or logic behind Kurzweil's fantasy of physical immortality. This is just a new religion for atheists.

If you're alive in 30 years, it's likely you'll be alive in 1000 years.

I have a hunch that I'll miss it by 10 years, oh well.

Who would want to be alive that long. Talk about boring.

Who wants that? It would be Hell on Earth.
